How Often Do I Need to Get My Teeth Professionally Cleaned?
We encourage patients to have cleanings once every 6 months, or more frequently if they have gum disease. During your routine visits to our office, we will assess your oral health and bring any of our concerns to your attention so they can be addressed right away. Potential problems can be discovered either by your dental hygienist or your dentist through the use of dental X-rays and a visual exam that includes looking for puffy, swollen gums, tartar buildup, or tooth decay.
